About Hot Springs National Park
Hot Springs National Park is unlike any other, centered on the thermal springs that bubble up at 143F from the surrounding mountains. The park protects 47 hot springs and historic Bathhouse Row, eight grand bathhouses built in the early 20th century when 'taking the waters' was a national pastime. Today, visitors can still experience traditional thermal baths or simply fill bottles with the pure spring water. The park also includes over 5,000 acres of Ouachita Mountain forest with 26 miles of trails.
